Yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.

Flaky friends, Wicked (duh), bath cushion, etc.

As someone who’s always looking ahead, I’m starting to think about what 2025 could bring. Goal setting and forecasting are on my mind, but I’m trying to balance this forward focus with being present in this fun season. The Christmas festivities are calling—extra events, family time, and cozy traditions—and I want to make space for all of it without letting work spill over. It’s a practice in boundaries and intentionality, and I’m reminded that planning for the future doesn’t have to mean rushing ahead.

  • What is Sleepmaxxing? If there’s anything I’m going to be maxxing, it’s this. 🛏️

  • Popular Budgeting Strategies. It’s that time of year to start thinking about 2025 finances 🤑

  • Why Do People Keep Flaking? There’s some interesting perspectives in here, but I also like this fun fact: “In the '60s in New York City, people who didn't show up to scheduled activities were called "flatleavers," as in they left you with a flat tire and no means to get anywhere else.” 🛞

Have you thought about 2025 goals and plans yet?

  • NPR Books We Love. I’m happy to see some favorites and ones I’ve not yet discovered 🤓

  • Bath Cushion. Love this extra cushion for a long, hot soak. My kids like this too despite spending most of their time flipping around the tub. 🛀

  • LEGO Minifig Puzzle. Hands down our favorite puzzle. We can even give our 4 year old 10 pieces and he can do a whole minifig himself. There’s also this version but the white background kills us a bit 😅
