Seasons go and seasons come.

Treasure hunt, octogenarians, AI, etc...

According to the small seasons article below, we’re in the midset of the spring thaw—a concept I love, even if the air still holds a chill. I’ve been drawn to the idea of breaking life into smaller, more manageable pieces—it keeps my planner brain from racing too far ahead and helps me stay present. Over the past few months, I’ve found myself surrendering more often to the natural rhythms of life, focusing on what’s unfolding around me rather than trying to steer what’s next.

  • Postpartum Dos And Don’ts. Becoming a parent for the first time is such a wild journey. There’s so much on this list I wish I would have known (or paid attention to). 🤱

  • The Guide to Work Life Balance. Around here we call it a blend instead of a balance, but this is worth a read, especially if you find yourself in a new season (e.g. new pet, new hours…) and need to reestablish your patterns. 👩‍🏭

  • Small seasons. “It's nice to have a more fine-grained way of thinking about the year; dividing such a big span of time into four big seasons feels really clumsy.” 🌨️

  • There’s Treasure Inside. What an adventure! All treasure was still undiscovered last I checked. 🏴‍☠️

  • Landsat Name. I love fun little websites. See your name created by nature! ⛰️

  • Sky Team. We got this 2-player cooperative game for Christmas, and I think about even on days we don’t play. Very fun, pretty simple, totally solid purchase. ✈️

  • Mushroom Funnel. Another Christmas gift! I’m so happy to have a funnel that doesn’t take up too much space and jam my drawers. And it’s so cute! 🍄

  • ChatGPT. You know this tool, and you should probably utilize it more. I use it for so many things including explaining crochet instructions, plotting a ton of interest points on a map, fixing excel formulas, checking kid’s math homework, budgeting help, etc. Try it out! It takes feedback well!
