Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming
National Park City, Destination X, Clue Escape Room, etc...
This summer, we’ve spent a lot of time at our neighborhood pool. It’s been fun to meet people and get to know our neighbors, but some of my favorite afternoons are the quieter ones when the water is calm and we can just drift. My kids have grown so much in their swimming skills and have had fun racing across the shallow end and jumping in to make the biggest splash. Between the ripples, the sunshine, and a country song playing somewhere in the background, it’s been the best kind of summer day.

America’s First National Park City. Congrats Chattanooga friends! 🗻
What Is An Irrational Thought? It’s helpful to remember these are not just “drive off a bridge” but also something like “everything that can go wrong will go wrong.” 🧠
On the recent epidemic of cafés at home. “The best spaces for connection are free or low-cost, recurring, local, and anchored in something shared.” ☕️
Sit to Stand Test. Haven’t tried this yet, someone tell me how hard it is. 😬

Are you a swimmer?

Sticker Book. I don’t do as many phone calls these days, but I used to complete a page to two of these catching up with friends. 🗽
Clue Escape Room. We got to rent this Robbery at the Museum version from our library! It was a fun escape room type game that we knocked out in about 45 minutes. I would say it’s aimed more at a younger crowd. 🚪
Baby Brezza. We had a foster baby staying with this this past week, so I broke out this bougie bottle maker I scored on Facebook Marketplace. It felt a little overkill, and I will absolutely continue to use it as needs arise. 🍼
Zevo Fly Trap. Kill the gnats! 🦟
