If everybody had an ocean across the USA

Blue Mindset, Football, budgeting, etc...

The holiday sparkle may be packed away, but there's an unmistakable energy in the air as we dive into 2025! Between settling back into our routines and plotting upcoming celebrations (winter birthday season, I see you!), I'm already daydreaming about sunny spring break escapes. January gives this perfect mix of fresh-start motivation and permission to find our own pace. Here's to embracing both the quiet moments and exciting plans ahead – 2025, we're ready for you!

  • 100 Great Travel Destinations. It’s time, let’s make Spring Break plans. ✈️

  • 2025 Must Read Books and Must See Films. Add the interesting ones to your lists. 🎥

  • What Is The Blue Mindset? I’m a big water girlie, so it’s interesting to think about some of the reasons I might love it so. I also read once that large bodies of water do something to the ions surrounding us from all our electronics? Whatever the reason… the conclusion is, go to the beach. 🏖️

  • How to Start a Commonplace Book. Love this idea, though I think I’ve just been using Pinterest as a digital version for ages. 📔

How has January started for you?

  • Lutheran Insulter. This the perfect blend of my kind of humor and the circles I run in, so I lol’ed my way through this for many minutes. My first insult was “You abominable abomination” and it only got better from there.

  • Monarch. I tried out a few different budgeting apps when Mint shut down last year, and this one was the winner. Nothing could beat it’s ease of use and reporting features. I think this link gives you some sort of additional discount, but don’t quote me on that.

  • Small Body Pillow. When, after too many years, I finally gave up my extra large pregnancy body pillow, this is what I transitioned to. It’s the right size for extra support without taking over the bed.

  • Snap Circuits. This was one of our favorite Christmas gifts for our kids this year. There’s over 100 projects you can build, so a few weeks in we’ve only scratched the surface of fun.
