He was chaos, he was revelry

College football, tie-dye, cookies, etc...

School’s back in session, and I’m feeling mixed about it. I genuinely love the summer stretch. It’s fun having the kids around, eating lunch together, the daily rhythm of noise and pool trips and games and chaos. There’s something really sweet about that extra together time. Still, the quiet has its perks. Having the house to myself a few days a week already feels like it’s upping my productivity. I guess that’s the rhythm of life, finding something good in every season.

  • Top College Football Coaches. What is my life that I enjoy football? I am Taylor Swift on the Kelce podcast talking about her newfound love of it all. 🏈

  • Read the Book, Watch the Movie. I love this way to deeper engage with a story. And it helps keep an eye on the content for littles! 🍿

  • Hook Up? Honestly, this is so Type A and how I want to live my life. 📅

  • On Living Alone. “Many people think of living alone as a stepping stone to something better, but I don’t long for anything else.” 🏡

What is the fall looking like for you?

  • Tie-Dye Kit. Anyone else seeing tie-dye everywhere this summer? I finally took the plunge with my kiddos. They love their shirts (I think we got 8 from one round of full bottles? And it came with refills!) and just keep wearing them. Thanks to Emily James for recommending this one! ☮️

  • Wild Fable PJs. I cannot even begin to describe how soft these are. I normally don’t like PJs with buttons but these are so luxurious. 50 more pairs please. ⏾

  • Penny and Pearl Cookies. Louisville friends, this is a local Crumbl. I’ve had their different flavors a few times and never been disappointed. 🍪

  • Marc Jacobs Leave In Conditioner. I’m skeptical of products that claim to help your hair grow, but after many years of feeling like I couldn’t get past my collarbone, I tried this and hit mid-back 💁‍♀️
